A new era for shipping between Oslo and Copenhagen
The Route
A chapter in Nordic transport history is coming to an end – and a new one is starting up
After 157 years of continuous operation of the freight route between Oslo and Copenhagen, DFDS is now passing on the torch to Go Nordic Cruiseline.
From 1 September 2025, Go Nordic Cruiseline Cargo will take over the freight operation and continue the important sea transport connection with daily departures, modern solutions and a strong focus on customer service and sustainability.

Please notice our January Docking program and cancellation of sailings:
- Nordic Crown is on her ordinary dry dock program from January 4th. Up to and including January 21st. 2026
- Nordic Pearl sailings from Copenhagen on January 13th. and from Oslo on January 14th. 2026 are cancelled.
Both vessels will be back in regular service from January 22nd. AGW.
